  • We wouldn't be a South Asian spice company without an epic Achari Masala. Indian pickles or achars differ from the pickles of the West. The latter typically feature dill, cucumber or green beans fermented in vinegar in a cool, dry place to create a briney, crunchy final result. Indian pickles or achar, which differ greatly across the country's various regions, feature all kinds of fruits, vegetables, meats and seafood, fermented in salt, oil and spices and exposed to the sun until the mix turns fiery, tangy, sour and slightly sweet. Our Achari Masala packs all those incredible flavors into a potent spice blend that can be used to make Indian pickles, savory meat curries, and zingy roasted vegetables. Don't just use it for achars, use it to make anything achari.
