Whether it is hot or iced, this moringa latte brings soothing sips of joy any time of the day (plus, it's caffeine-free, so we especially love it as an afternoon treat!). There are a few different methods depending on what tools you have on hand and if you want it iced or hot—see the breakdown below!

If you want to add a little extra to your Kudligi Nuggekai latte, we love a little Panneer rose simple syrup as the sweetener, or if you are heating it up, adding a couple crushed cardamom pods to the milk. Or, try mixing up the milk type—we love a moringa moment with pistachio milk!

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1½ teaspoons Kudligi Moringa
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • Liquid sweetener of choice, like maple syrup, date syrup, honey, or agave
  • ¾ to 1 cup cow or plant-based milk

Methods

Using a matcha bowl & whisk
  1. Place the moringa, hot water, and sweetener of your choice in a small bowl and whisk, using a matcha whisk, until the moringa dissolves into the water, about 30 to 45 seconds. Alternatively, you can use a small whisk.
  2. For hot, fill a mug with hot milk of your choice and pour the whisked sweetened moringa mixture over it. For iced, fill a glass with ice, pour the milk of your choice over the ice, top with the moringa mixture, and mix.
Stovetop method for hot moringa latte
  1. Add the moringa powder, sweetener of your choice, and 1 cup milk of your choice to a small saucepan and whisk to combine (you are going to omit the water in this version). Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer, whisking occasionally. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
Shaken method for iced
  1. Place 1½ teaspoons moringa, sweetener of your choice, and 2 tablespoons cold water in a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice. Seal and shake until the outside of the shaker feels icy, about 30 to 45 seconds. Add more ice to a cup and pour milk over the ice, leaving about 2 inches at the top of the glass. Finish with the shaken moringa mixture and enjoy!
