Taking inspiration from the cookie tins of our childhoods (aka Dansk butter cookie tins that were always repurposed as sewing kits after the cookies were polished off), we worked with Kashmir-based brand Pyaala to create our own version. The custom tins are handpainted by traditional and renowned Kashmiri enamelware artisans. Each tin is one-of-a-kind and filled with five signature cookies by NYC-based baker Laurie Ellen Pellicano, featuring Diaspora Co. signature spices like Chai Masala and Anamalai Cacao.
